The MacPhersons began their service on 1 July 2024. President James E MacPheson and Sister Jenessa MacPherson were both born in Salt Lake City, Utah in the same hospital, just three weeks apart from each other.
President MacPherson grew up in Florida and Utah. He served his mission in the Baltimore, Maryland Mission. He graduated from the University of Utah in Political Science, and a Masters In Executive Leadership from Georgetown University. His career has mostly been in the mortgage industry. Outside of his career, he loves fishing, traveling, and making memories with his family. He has served as a ward young men's president, ward mission leader, Bishop, counselor in a Stake Presidency, temple ordinance worker, and as a Stake President.
Sister MacPherson grew up mostly in Utah. She served her mission in the Detroit Michigan Mission. She graduated from Brigham Young University in Recreation Management. She owned her own business breeding Australian Labradoodles prior to the mission call and enjoys baking, traveling, and pickleball. She has been a Primary President, Sunday School and Relief Society teacher, ward missionary, young women's advisor, and temple ordinance worker.
President and Sister MacPherson are the parents of six boys and one girl. And have added two beautiful daughter in laws to their family, as well as a granddaughter, and a grandson on the way!
